Nedim Catal - Adjunct Teacher - Specializing in Cuban Salsa & Rueda
Nedim Catal to share in his expertise that he's acquired over the years in salsa as a whole as well as specifically in Salsa Cubana and Salsa Rueda. Nedim has also been very influential in this area since 1998, so much so that many had asked me to include him and I'm providing that opportunity. Also for those that don't know, Nedim had mentored both Brian Bromka and SMAC until 2004 (they were members of his Dance Troupe - SalsaAmigos), so I'm very grateful to have him help out and share his knowledge, experience and passion with others. He is also going to be sharing the DJing responsibilities with me (as DJ Suave), in the effort to further share with the variety and diversity that there is in salsa music from such a long time period over so many different regions Included are several testimonials about Nedim and his wife Suzana
CNY Salseros primary goal is to bring the most popular style of salsa to Central New York. Our program is as comprehensive as possible, covering all aspects of the dance. We aim to have our students embrace their creativity, obtain an understanding of movement, and truly feel the music. We understand that everyone’s goals may be different, whether it’s to be a better social dancer, to get good enough to be able to compete, or to eventually be a performer and/or instructor within our program.
