Unfortunately, we had to cancel our December event on 12/14 and will soon have more information about our upcoming events in January
Muevete!
We attract many of the best dancers, both leaders and followers; of many different styles, (LA/NY, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Ballroom, and even some Colombian); all of which can dance On1, On2 or On3, some dancers in attendance can truly feel the music and interpret the music in an artistic manner that it’s beyond just footwork and steps. When playing the best music available and having different guests from around Syracuse, around the state, and eventually beyond, any dancer would jump at the chance to be in attendance and on that floor.
With having such support it’s been easy to bring in many, many different dance schools around the state to share what’s being built here. As I’ve talked to each guest instructor, they enjoy the night thoroughly. Once it’s over, I know they each look forward to when they can return, and share some more of their knowledge and show off a little with a performance. Don't be afraid to dance, since the best way to get better is to have fun dancing with as many people as possible. Fretting over not getting asked to dance? Anyone that teaches here, will say yes if asked especially Dave, Jeff & Nedim(you won't regret doing so!) |
Muevete MeaningFor those that aren't as fluent in Spanish muevete is a command in Spanish for move. But in context it's move it or shake it
So Here's a contemporary salsa music video that should help put some things in context: DLG - Muevete The English equivalent for those less Spanish fluent: Will I Am - Move It!
