Dave Sorensen - Director & Founder

Dave Sorensen has become a well recognized and well liked dancer, not only in Syracuse, but in Rochester, NY and Toronto, ON Canada as well. Dave has a very fluid and precise lead as well as an understanding of the music to customize the dance to it and maintains consistent timing. As a teacher he strives to have his students go beyond simple footwork and become complete dancers utilizing body isolations, spinning techniques, and the important proper lead and follow techniques. Dave is also a choreographer with unique routines for salsa on1 and on2 as well as bachata that utilize solid technique and are entertaining to watch.

Jakki Bodah

Jakki has been a big part of the company and frequently helps a large part of the community overall. She has a very diverse background in dancing Latin, Swing and Ballroom dances, though Latin dancing is definitely a favorite. Like everyone else with CNY Salseros, she's a social butterfly and dances with everyone to have a very mutually enjoyable time.
